Amy Beckley PhD has a wealth of experience in the medical field. Amy began their career in 1998 as a Laboratory Assistant at ItherX Pharmaceuticals Inc. In 2000, they moved to Celgene Inc as a Research Associate. From 2003 to 2007, they were a Graduate Student at the University of Colorado, researching mechanisms that breast cancer cells use to escape primary tumors and metastasize to the lung. During this time, they developed orthotopic in vivo breast cancer models in mice. From 2007 to 2011, they were a Post-doctoral Fellow at the NIH/NIEHS, studying glucocorticoid hormone signaling in cancer, endocrine disorders, metabolic disease, and inflammation. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Research Assistant Professor at Kansas State University, developing and testing vaccines targeting highly pathogenic porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (HP-PRRS) virus, classical swine fever virus, swine influenza virus, and avian influenza virus. Amy also helped create and patent two novel adjuvant and vaccine delivery systems, developed and characterized several monoclonal antibodies, and used fermentation and bioreactors to express vaccine antigens. From 2012 to 2015, they were an Independent Consultant at Iverson Genetics, educating area physicians on the importance of genetic testing prior to prescription drug use. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Lead Scientist at Jonah Ventures, using next generation sequencing technology to reconstruct the diets of animals and methods to determine pollen sources found in household dust, the air, and honey. Finally, in 2016 they became the Owner & CEO of Proov, a fertility tracker that uses FDA Cleared, medical-quality diagnostics to help pinpoint issues and get pregnant faster.

Amy Beckley PhD obtained their PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus between 2003 and 2007. Amy then went on to receive their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Kansas State University between 2013 and 2016. Finally, they earned their B.S. in Biology from UC San Diego between 1998 and 2001.
