John Macrini is currently the Director of Finance at Propac Agency. Prior to this, they were the Senior Manager of Corporate Finance at Match.com from January 2013 to November 2015. In this role, John managed the headcount expenses for Match.com's domestic businesses, including monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, variance analysis, reporting, and payroll accruals. John also continued to serve as the FP&A partner for SpeedDate.com and provided monthly free cash flow, monthly balance sheet, and monthly capital expenditure forecasts for the global portfolio.
Before joining Match.com, John was the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at Agencies of Change from June 2007 to January 2013. In this role, they served as the Finance partner to the President of the Consumer Products business unit and was responsible for revenue and cost forecasting, weekly income statement pro-forma reporting, year-end annual budgeting, project profitability estimation, contract review, and ad hoc analysis. John also mentored a junior staff accountant with on-going career development, job training, and performance evaluations.
As part of the agency’s Operational Excellence Initiative, John participated in improving agency-wide processes and procedures as the Finance representative. John partnered with the SVP of Operations on capacity planning, discipline profitability reporting, and income statement training for non-finance resources. Additionally, John designed the model and formulas used to calculate the monthly borrowing and lending of salary costs across the agency’s payroll cost centers which was used to populate the Personnel Cost portion of the monthly business unit income statements.
John Macrini pursued an MBA in Finance from Wake Forest University School of Business after completing a BS in Business Administration and Economics from Trinity University.
