Gautam Venugopal

Gautam Venugopal is an experienced marine professional with a comprehensive background in maritime operations. Currently serving as Marine Superintendent at Propel Marine since November 2021, Gautam previously held the position of Port Captain at GSS (Global Shipping Services) from March 2020 to February 2023, where responsibilities included loading various cargoes onto heavy lift vessels at Indian ports. Gautam's extensive maritime career includes roles as Master, Sailor, and Captain of container ships at Anglo-Eastern from June 2002 to February 2023, as well as serving as Port Captain at GSS Marine Services for a brief period in early 2020. Gautam's educational qualifications include a Diploma in Nautical Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a B.Sc. in Nautical Science from the University of Bombay, alongside completing high school education at Bethany High School.
