Cate Layne

Cate Layne has over 10 years of experience in marketing and communications roles. Cate is currently the Director of Brand and Communications at Propeller Health, where they lead a team responsible for developing and executing brand strategy and growth initiatives. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Marketing and Communications at Health Energy Partners, LLC, where they oversaw internal and external communications, brand content, product launches, and sales support marketing. Cate also has experience as a Director and Sr. Manager at Continuum Clinical, where they developed and executed brand, marketing, and content strategies. Additionally, Cate has held positions at Illinois workNet and Columbia College Chicago, where they worked in social media management and as a copy editor and editor-in-chief, respectively.

Cate Layne obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Columbia College Chicago, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In 2017, they pursued a certification in Project Management from Villanova University. Additionally, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from ResMed in August 2022 and a PMC Level I certification from Pragmatic Institute in June 2022.
