Mandy Poon has a diverse and extensive work experience in marketing and brand management. Mandy is currently the Director of Brand Marketing at Prophix since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Brand & Content Strategy at Prophix from 2022 to 2023.
Before joining Prophix, Mandy was the Director of Marketing at GardaWorld from 2020 to 2022. Mandy also worked as a Senior Brand Marketing Consultant for various clients as a freelancer from 2016 to 2020, where they provided marketing and brand management consulting services, including product launches, campaign creation, content strategy development, and digital marketing strategy.
Mandy's experience also includes working as a Senior Strategist in Global Digital Marketing Strategy & Content at Philip Morris International from 2016 to 2020. In this role, they led marketing and brand management, content creation, and digital strategy for a global brand, IQOS. Mandy conducted global launches, created marketing plans, and developed content strategies.
Before joining Philip Morris International, Mandy worked as a Strategic Planner at dentsu from 2014 to 2016, where they developed brand strategies and communication plans. Mandy also worked as a Digital Marketing Consultant at w.illi.am/ (now Valtech Canada) from 2012 to 2014, where they focused on creating digital brand experiences and led social strategy for Mary Kay.
Earlier in their career, Mandy worked at Edelman as a Digital Analyst from 2010 to 2012, specializing in digital measurement and analytics. Mandy also worked as a Communications Specialist at Social Justice Connection - Connexion justice sociale in 2010, where they developed communication plans and managed social media.
Mandy started their career as a Freelance Writer, writing lifestyle pieces for local blogs and publications from 2009 to 2010. Mandy also worked as a PR & Marketing Assistant at L'Artisan Parfumeur from 2009 to 2010. Throughout their career, Mandy has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of marketing, including brand strategy, content creation, digital marketing, and campaign management.
Mandy Poon has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Joint-Honours Political Science & East Asian Studies from McGill University. Mandy also pursued Graduate Studies in Public Relations and Communications Management at McGill University. In addition, they have obtained ABM Certification: Foundations from Demandbase in 2022.
