Wenchao Liu

Wenchao Liu has a strong background in the technology industry with over 16 years of experience. Wenchao currently holds the position of Vice President at Primarius Technologies, a role they have held since January 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Technology Platform Director at UNISOC from November 2018 to December 2019.

From 2009 to 2018, Wenchao Liu worked at GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, where they also took on managerial responsibilities. Before that, they were a Research Partner in IBM’s International Semiconductor Development Alliance from 2006 to 2009.

Wenchao Liu began their career as a Senior Engineer at Chartered Semiconductor from August 2005 to February 2006. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Engineer at Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation from July 2004 to August 2005.

Wenchao Liu obtained a Ph.D. in Microelectronics from the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Wenchao pursued their doctoral studies from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Master's Degree in Materials Science at Hunan University, where they studied from 1998 to 2001.
