Michael Tamer has a long and varied career in the contact center industry. In 1980, they began their career as a Sales Representative at Datapoint. In 1983, they became the CEO of Teknekron Infoswitch, where they introduced the first Quality Monitoring product for the call center industry. In 1999, they became the CEO of etalk, and in 2000, the CEO of tpc. In 2009, they owned a wedding business called Piazza with two facilities for ten years. In 2016, they authored a book called 52 Things to Know. In 2017, they authored The Four Minute Customer for Contact Center leaders. In 2019, they developed a podcast for leaders to inspire and drive performance in the contact center called The Contact Center Coach. Finally, in 2015, they became the CEO of Proponisi, an enterprise product solutions and professional services provider for customer driven organizations.
Michael Tamer attended Ledyard High School before going on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Rhode Island College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Rhode Island.
