Hiram Vargas-Velez

Hiram Vargas-Velez, MBA, has extensive experience in material utilization and engineering, currently serving as a Material Utilization Engineer at Propper International since March 2015. Key contributions include the development and documentation of a corporate material utilization project that resulted in over $850,000 in material savings across five production plants in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti. Vargas-Velez also has a significant history at Propper International from 1987 to 2015, where roles ranged from Cost Engineering Coordinator—developing over 500 military and commercial bids—to Safety Coordinator and Engineering Technician, implementing safety programs and conducting efficiency studies.
