Cristian Teodorescu has been working in the technology industry for over 20 years. Theircareer began in 1997 at Sprint, where they served as a Senior Architect for the Quest project, a customer service interface built with Smalltalk technology. In 1998, they moved to Burlington Northern Santa Fe as a Senior Architect for the Demand Forecast System (DFS).
In 1999, Teodorescu returned to Sprint as a Senior Architect, working on the Sprint ION and Odyssey System projects. In 2000, they worked in three different positions, serving as Chief Architect at IP Communications, Principal Architect at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and Principle Architect at Southwest Airlines.
In 2003, Teodorescu became the Principal Architect at Prologic Technologies, working on an Enterprise Resource Planing System (ERP) for K12 Schooling System. In 2004, they took on the role of Principal at TeoTios, Inc., setting up an IT group and providing the architecture for a Quoting System for Logic Insurance.
In 1996, Teodorescu founded ProQuality, a next-generation application platform-as-a-service (aPaaS) vendor. As CTO, they drove and led the vision and strategy of their platforms. Finally, in 2021, Teodorescu founded StackBox Inc, launching a SAAS native cloud platform www.stackbox.cloud.
Cristian Teodorescu obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Tulsa between 1985 and 1989. Cristian then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science at San Jose State University between 1990 and 1991. Finally, they obtained a second Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago in 1993.
