Carlos Fontes has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Carlos currently serves as a Board Member at MusicPRO, a disruptive startup platform that provides practical, fast, and transparent career management for independent artists and labels. Carlos is also a Mentor at eMentor.br, where they provide individual mentorship sessions to help professionals in their career and business challenges.

In 2022, Carlos worked as a Consultant - Financial Services at proSapient, providing expertise in the financial industry. Carlos also served as a Member of the Advisory Board at BMS Tecnologia, contributing to strategic decision-making. Additionally, they served as a Counselor at AGCP - Associação de Garantia de Crédito Paulista, focusing on credit guarantee.

Prior to this, Carlos held the position of Executive Director of Business and Chief Business Officer (CBO) at Sicoob Central Cecresp in 2021, where they were responsible for business development, marketing, communication, and credit and customer service. Carlos played a crucial role in expanding business opportunities and building relationships with executives and board members from 43 Credit Cooperatives.

Carlos has experience in the banking industry as well. From 2006 to 2020, they held various roles at Banco Santander, including Regional Agency Superintendent, where they managed the profit and loss of a regional agency division covering several states. Carlos also served as the Head of the Credit Card and Retail Products Division and was responsible for the growth and management of the Consignment Credit sector across Brazil. Carlos advanced their career at Itaú Unibanco before joining Banco Santander, serving as a General Manager of an agency and a Regional Manager for Telemarketing and Market Expansion.

Carlos began their career at HSBC as a Coordinator for Customer Acquisition Projects.

Carlos Fontes has a diverse education history. Carlos obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Universidade Católica de Brasília, specializing in Human Sciences, from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Postgraduate degree in Marketing at Universidade Candido Mendes from 2005 to 2006. Further back in their education, they completed a degree in Administration with a focus on Controladoria at Estácio from 1997 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Carlos also holds several certifications. Carlos obtained a certificate in Project Management from Enap in June 2022. In 2013, they completed the Leadership Program at ISE Business School as part of the Santander program. Furthermore, they obtained the CPA 20 certification from ANBIMA in December 2019.
