Gennady Kuzin has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Gennady worked at Valenta Pharmaceuticals as a Leading Scientist from 2018 to the present, where they achieved significant accomplishments such as launching pipeline portfolio restructuring and developing collaborations with the National Institutes of Health. Gennady also served as a Medical Expert/R&D Manager at Valenta Pharmaceuticals from 2018 to 2021, where they focused on developing concepts, products, and solutions and overseeing the entire development process. In addition, Gennady worked as a Healthcare Consultant at proSapient from 2020 to the present. Other roles include being a Postgraduate Researcher at Tohoku University in 2021 and an Academic Director at Synapse in 2017-2018. Gennady has also gained research and medical experience through visiting researcher positions at Michigan State University and CHI Memorial Hospital - Georgia, as well as working as a Surgery Resident at Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. Gennady has also held leadership positions, such as President of the Students' Scientific Society, where they generated new ideas for scientific projects and organized international medical conferences.
Gennady Kuzin has an extensive education history in medical and surgical fields. In 2010, they enrolled in the General Surgery Residency Program at Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia and completed it in 2016, earning a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Following this, from 2016 to 2018, they pursued further specialization in Abdominal Surgery and Endoscopic Surgery at the same institution, obtaining a degree as a General Surgeon.
In 2017, Gennady Kuzin took the United States Medical Licensing Examination Step 2 Clinical Knowledge, administered by the EDUCATIONAL COMMISSION FOR FOREIGN MEDICAL GRADUATES. Additionally, in 2016, they successfully completed the United States Medical Licensing Examination Step 1.
In 2017 and 2018, they were a Postgraduate Researcher in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Michigan State University. Currently, in 2021, Gennady Kuzin is pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Medical Informatics at Tohoku University.
Furthermore, Gennady Kuzin obtained the certification of Certified Member (CM) from The Society on Sarcopenia, Cachexia, and Wasting Disorders (SCWD) in 2021.
