Idd Kirondo, CSSM, CPA.

Idd Kirondo has a diverse work experience in different roles and industries. Idd worked at CRDB Bank Plc, starting in 2019 as the Head of Procurement-CAPEX/Strategic Sourcing, where they developed and implemented the Group's medium-term buying strategy. Idd then served as the Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing, responsible for managing the Group's supply chain and driving continuous improvement.

Prior to their work at CRDB Bank Plc, Idd worked as a Private Supply Chain Consultant at proSapient from 2018 onwards. Idd also worked at Yara International, where they held multiple positions. As the Country Supply Chain Manager, they introduced the transportation of fertilizer via railway, facilitating direct loading to wagons. Idd also led the Logistics operations as the Logistics Manager & Country Planner, overseeing sourcing, procurement, and logistics activities. As the Logistics Coordinator, they managed warehouse operations, negotiated contracts, and analyzed inventory requirements. Earlier in their career, Idd worked as an Accountant, handling payments, reconciliation, and audit support.

Idd began their career at NMB PLC as a Sales Associate, responsible for providing out-of-branch services and reducing customer queues by strengthening alternative service channels. Overall, Idd has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and expertise in procurement, supply chain management, and logistics.

Idd Kirondo has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) which they obtained from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Kibaha High School from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSE) with a focus on Economics, Commerce & Accounts (ECA).

In addition to their formal education, Idd Kirondo has obtained several certifications. These include a Membership Certificate from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, which they obtained in October 2022. Idd also holds a Procurement and Logistics Certificate from DisasterReady, obtained in July 2022.

Furthermore, Idd Kirondo is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA(T)) as certified by the NBAA, which they obtained in July 2019. Idd is also a Certified Strategic Supply Chain Manager (CSSM) awarded by Qualifi Ltd in April 2018.
