Thomas J began their career as a Respiratory Therapist at Tenet Healthcare where they gained clinical experience in various hospital settings. After that, they worked as a Financial Analyst at K1 Ventures. Kim then joined Tenet Healthcare again, this time holding positions such as Leadership Development Associate/Manager of Strategic Finance, Controller, and Director of Finance.

In 2011, Kim transitioned to Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc. where they held several roles including Corporate Director/VP of Finance Operations and Corporate VP of Operations Improvement. During their time at Prospect Medical Holdings, they played a key role in driving financial and operational performance improvement initiatives, implementing productivity management systems, and leading integration efforts for newly acquired hospitals.

Kim's accomplishments also include their role as Chief Financial Officer for Alta Hospitals System at Prospect Medical Holdings. Thomas J successfully achieved significant operational improvements in EBITDA, even amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. From 1996 to 1998, Thomas also completed the Army Medic & Respiratory Specialist Programs at Fort Sam Houston - Army Medical Battalion.
