Vassilis Zachariadis has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Vassilis started their career at David Simmonds Consultancy Ltd in 2006 as a Research and Development Analyst, where they were responsible for designing and implementing an agent-based microsimulation model of household location. After that, they worked at Legion Limited as a Senior Scientist from 2008 to 2015, leading research and supervising students, and assisting in product development.
In 2009, Vassilis joined the University of Cambridge as a Researcher at the Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction. Their work focused on developing computationally optimized methods for modelling location choice and route assignment, as well as researching the spatio-temporal dynamics of urban flows and activities.
