Jessica Scanlan

Jessica Scanlan has held a variety of positions in the past decade. In 2012, they worked as a waitress at Park Grove Bar and Café, where they honed their time management, public relations, and multi-tasking skills. In 2013, they worked as a Park Ranger for the US Army Corps of Engineers, where they helped visitors with information about the Dam, geology, area specifics, and taught STEM and other learning programs to children, K-8. In 2014, they were a Youth Development Specialist for Boys and Girls Clubs of America. In 2015, they were a Geology Intern for Stillwater Mining Company, where they learned safety, rock identification and core logging, and making drill proposals. In 2016, they were the Owner/operator of TrendyAndOrganized.com and an Underground Tour Guide at the World Museum of Mining. In 2017, they were a Geologist at Sibanye-Stillwater's Stillwater Mine and a Field Engineer for Condon-Johnson & Associates, Inc. In 2021, they were the Business Owner of Mine Design Creations. Finally, in 2022, they are the Head of New Media at Prospector, where they are responsible for assisting the sales and marketing teams to create and maintain a strong social media presence.

Jessica Scanlan began their educational journey at Nashua High School, where they attended from 1999 to 2012. Jessica then attended Colorado Community College Online from 2013 to 2014. In 2012, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering from Montana Technological University. In addition to these educational experiences, Jessica has obtained seven certifications from LinkedIn in April 2022, as well as an estimated fluency in Spanish from Duolingo in January 2016.
