Nissar Dalal

Nissar Dalal has a diverse work experience spanning over four decades. Nissar began their career as a business owner at Orion Estates in 1979 and later owned their own business, VCI Chemicals, from 1982 to 1988. Nissar then served as a marketing manager at LCIL Properties Ltd. from 1988 to 1993. Nissar transitioned to the insurance industry and worked as an Insurance Sales Representative at London Life Insurance Company from 1994 to 1995. Nissar briefly owned and managed Necessities from 1995 to 1997 before joining Royal Bank of Canada as an Account Manager in the Business Markets department from 1998 to 2004. Nissar then moved to Vancity Credit Union, where they held roles such as Account Manager - Business Banking from 2004 to 2010 and Manager, Community Business Support from 2010 to 2016. Nissar joined Prospera Credit Union in 2016 and has held various positions, including Senior Manager Commercial Credit from 2016 to 2018, Acting V P Credit from 2018 to 2020, Director Business Banking and Lease Credit from 2020 to 2021, and their current role as Director Commercial Credit since November 2021. Prior to joining Prospera Credit Union, Nissar briefly worked as the VP Commercial and Retail Credit at Sunshine Coast Credit Union from August 2021 to November 2021.

Nissar Dalal obtained their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Bombay between 1980 and 1984.
