Kartika Sari Juniwaty

Kartika Sari Juniwaty is a prominent expert in gender equality, disability, and social inclusion, currently serving as the Head of Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion at Prospera since April 2020, while also holding positions as Senior Development Economist and Development Economist. Kartika adds to this role the experience of being a Lecturer at the University of Indonesia, where curriculum development for the Economics for Poverty course has been a focus. Kartika's previous experiences include lecturing at Melbourne Polytechnic and serving as a Quantitative Research Specialist at CIFOR, where significant contributions to policy improvement and research capacity building were made. Additionally, Kartika has worked as a Subject Matter Expert for The World Bank and held various roles within the National Team for the Acceleration of Poverty Reduction. With a robust academic background that includes a PhD in Development and Behavioral Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics, Kartika has consistently been involved in cutting-edge research and education in economics, with a particular emphasis on poverty alleviation and policy development.
