Jonathan Kay has a diverse work experience in the field of medical research and health information. Jonathan currently works at Prostate Cancer UK as the Health Information Service Lead. Previously, they served as the Science Communications Manager at Anthony Nolan, where they researched and produced health information for stem cell transplant recipients. Before that, they worked as a Research Associate at University College London and the University of Cambridge, where they evaluated biomarkers and conducted validation studies for cancer treatment improvement. Their earliest role was as a Research Assistant at MedImmune, where they assessed methods of targeted siRNA delivery.
Jonathan Kay completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry and Genetics at the University of Nottingham from 2001 to 2004. Jonathan then pursued their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Oncology at the same university from 2004 to 2005. Following this, they continued their education at Imperial College London, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cell Biology from 2005 to 2008.
