Shady Ibrahim has a diverse work experience in the field of cloud engineering and DevOps development. Shady began their career at Alexandria pediatric Center as a Customer Service Specialist in 2016. Shady then worked as an Information Technology Technician at Al-Ghad poultry from 2017 to 2018. Shady joined Adam Travel Services in 2018 as an Information Technology Specialist, where they diagnosed and troubleshooted Unix and Windows processing problems and provided documentation for start-up and shutdown processes.
In 2021, Shady transitioned into the role of a DevOps Developer at Adam Travel Services, where they developed and supported software release management procedures and performed GIT support for various projects. Shady also built servers using AWS and implemented various services like EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, VPC, and load balancers to meet business needs.
Shady further enhanced their skills as an AWS DevOps Developer at GroupTrip in 2022. Shady was responsible for creating an automated build and deployment process for a web application and managed Ubuntu Linux virtual servers on AWS EC2.
Continuing their journey in cloud engineering, Shady participated in the Advanced Cloud DevOps Nanodegree Program at egFWD in 2022. Shady learned about CI/CD fundamentals, deployment strategies, and configuration management tools. Shady also gained hands-on experience in deploying web servers and infrastructure using CloudFormation.
Shady's most recent role was as a Cloud Support Engineer at Tanafer for Tourism and Travel Agency in 2022. Shady focused on cloud technologies and provisioned highly available EC2 instances with LAMP Stack for PHP. Shady also utilized GitLab for automating continuous delivery and optimized volumes and EC2 instances.
Currently, Shady is working as a Cloud Engineer at Protagona since July 2022.
Shady Ibrahim obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Management Information System from AHI, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. In addition to their degree, Shady also earned a certification in Advanced Cloud DevOps Nano-Degree from Udacity in May 2022.
