Shu Li

Shu Li is a seasoned professional in pharmaceutical formulation and process development, currently serving as Senior Scientist II - Research Fellow at Protagonist Therapeutics since February 2018, leading the technical development of oral tablet formulations for peptide molecules in phase 2 clinical studies. Prior roles include Senior Scientist at Proteus Digital Health, where digitized oral tablets with ingestible sensors were developed, and as Sr. Scientist at SinuSys Corp., focused on mucosal drug delivery devices for chronic sinusitis. Shu Li has extensive experience in formulation and processing development from previous positions at Impax Labs, ADDS Pharmaceuticals, and Novo Nordisk, where responsibilities included developing oral dosage forms and conducting stability studies. Education includes a Master's degree in Material Sciences from Alfred University, complemented by a lengthy career in controlled release drug delivery systems and formulation activities at Johnson & Johnson and ALZA Corp.
