Suresh Sethi

Suresh Sethi is the Managing Director & CEO at NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited. Suresh was previously the Additional Secretary, Government of India and Founder CEO at India Post Payments Bank (IPPB). Suresh is credited with conceptualizing and establishing IPPB, which is setup under the Department of Posts, Ministry of Communication with 100% equity owned by the Government of India.

Under Sethi's leadership, IPPB has become the most accessible, affordable and trusted bank for the common man in India. This is due in part to the fact that IPPB has leveraged the Department of Posts' unparalleled reach across 155000 Post Offices and over 300000 Postal employees. In addition, Sethi has executed the largest digital & financial literacy program in India which has trained and certified 250,000+ postal employees as Banking Service providers.

Sethi has received numerous awards for their work in inclusive banking, including the Best Payments Bank - Indian Banking Association Technology Awards 2020, Dun & Bradstreet Technology Awards 2020, and Finnoviti Awards 2020, 2019.

Suresh Sethi has an MBA in marketing and finance from the Faculty of Management Studies at the University of Delhi. Suresh also has a B.E. in electronics from Punjab Engineering College.
