Kelly Hardin

Kelly Hardin has over 25 years of experience in a variety of roles in the accounting and medical fields. In 1990, they began their career as a Physician Assistant at East Tennessee Heart Consultants, followed by a Sales Support Manager role at DeRoyal. In 1994, they became a Physician Assistant at Richard W. Robinson, MD, and in 1995, they took on a Physician Assistant role at Dermatology Associates of Knoxville. In 2001, Hardin began working as an Accountant at Summit Accounting, where they performed write-up work for multiple small business clients and completed federal and state income tax returns. In 2006, they became the Owner of Kelly M. Hardin, CPA. In 2008, they took on the role of Accounting Manager at NetGain Corporation, where they were responsible for full general ledger responsibilities. In 2011, Hardin became a Senior Financial Analyst at Strategic Consulting Solutions, where they managed a team responsible for outsourced accounting for government contractor clients. In 2014, they began working as a Regional Controller at Alliance for Multispecialty Research, LLC, where they managed accounting functions for multi-site clinical research companies. Finally, in 2020, Hardin took on the role of Accounting Manager at Protection Strategies Incorporated, where they managed a three-person accounting team, was responsible for month-end close, contract setup and maintenance, cash projections, and management reporting.

Kelly Hardin's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts in Physician Assistant from Lake Erie College from 1981 to 1984, a period of study in Health Care Administration from Saint Joseph's College from 1994 to 1997, a period of study in Accounting from Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee from 1986 to 1992, a period of study in Pre-Medical from Case Western Reserve University from 1979 to 1981, and graduation from Fostoria High School in 1975. In addition, Hardin holds certifications as a Digital Mindset from the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants obtained in August 2020, Chartered Global Management Accountant obtained in December 2014, Certified Public Accountant obtained in December 1992, and Physician Assistant-Certified obtained from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) in November 1984.
