Weiguang Shi

Weiguang Shi is an accomplished software engineer and founding engineer with extensive experience in building AI and software solutions across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Protege, Weiguang is focused on developing a platform for AI training data. Prior to this, Weiguang contributed to InsightNexus as a Founding Engineer, creating AI middleware for enterprise applications. At LinkedIn, Weiguang held various roles including Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, where significant contributions were made to marketplace search and search and discovery features. Additional experience includes advisory roles at CareerTu职图, software engineering positions at United Rentals, Net@Work, and Hara Partners, as well as research projects at IBM Watson Research Center. Weiguang holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field from Xidian University.
