Navtej Gill

Navtej Gill has extensive experience working in various roles in the technology industry. Navtej started their career at TIAA-CREF Financial Services, where they served as a Technical Lead. In this role, they facilitated and managed UAT sessions, staging, and production business checkouts with stakeholders. Navtej also shared technical knowledge and innovation insight to make informed execution decisions, working closely with scrum teams for constant backlog grooming and extended team meetings. Additionally, Navtej was involved in design phase meetings for business analysis and requirements gathering.

Navtej then joined General Motors as a Scrum Master/QA Lead. Here, they led test planning, execution, and defect lifecycle in 2-week sprint cycles. Navtej worked closely with business stakeholders and the development team using Microsoft TFS. Navtej also created multiple squads with cross-functional teams, applying scrum framework to achieve agile rapid development and improved quality. Navtej provided feedback on testing to enhance application quality.

Most recently, Navtej worked at Protego Trust as a Project Manager Scrum Master. Navtej performed dual roles, transforming the team into a full-fledged scrum team by aligning with the value stream. As a project manager, they aligned project timelines, managed development milestones and deliverables, and accurately forecasted and tracked project budgets. Navtej also facilitated and managed UAT sessions, staging, and production business checkouts while collaborating with stakeholders.

Throughout their career, Navtej has built a strong foundation in project management, scrum methodology, and technical leadership, demonstrating their ability to drive successful outcomes in technology-focused organizations.

Navtej Gill has obtained a Master of Computer Science degree with a concentration in Computer Science from Wayne State University College of Engineering. Additionally, Navtej has also obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science degree with a focus on Computer Science from the same institution. Furthermore, Navtej has acquired a certification as a Scaled Scrum Product Owner Certified (SSPOC) from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2022.
