Ahmed Aboushanab

Ahmed Aboushanab has a diverse work experience. In 2019, they were the Biotech Research Lead at Proteinea and also completed the Changelabs Accelerator Program, for which they were awarded 1.5 million EGP in funding. In 2020, they began working as a Teaching Assistant at The American University in Cairo. Previously, from 2015 to 2019, they were a Volunteer Research Assistant and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Zewail City of Science and Technology.

Ahmed Aboushanab obtained a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from Zewail City of Science and Technology in 2017, majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Ahmed then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Biotechnology at The American University in Cairo, which they are expected to complete in 2021. In addition, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn, MathWorks, and Coursera Course Certificates in Project Management Simplified, MATLAB Onramp, R Programming, and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox, respectively.
