Youssef Mansour has held various positions in the field of protein science over the past nine years. In 2012, they began their career as a Research Internship in Protein Biochemistry at Heidelberg University Biochemistry Center. Youssef then went on to work as a Science Writer-Intern at Nature Publishing Group in 2014. The following year, they held a Master Internship in Chemical Biology at the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (RIMLS), as well as a Master Internship in Protein Design at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology. In 2017, they worked as a Freelance Science Writer at Nature Portfolio. In 2018, they were a Research Assistant & Lab Manager in Biophysics and Structural Biology of SAM-I Riboswitch at Zewail City of Science and Technology. In 2021, they began working as a Scientific Executive- Protein Research and Biomanufacturing at HVD Vertriebs GmbH, and currently holds the position of Protein Science Lead at Proteinea, which they began in 2023.
Youssef Mansour received a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and Biotechnology from The German University in Cairo in 2013. Youssef then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease from Radboud University in 2016.
