Ashlin Kanawaty

Ashlin Kanawaty is a skilled professional with a diverse background in engineering and robotics. Currently serving as a Junior Machine Learning Scientist at ProteinQure since October 2021, Ashlin has previously held roles such as Project Manager and Lead Developer for autonomous robotic surgical devices at Mariner Endosurgery Inc. from May 2017 to October 2021. Experience includes contributions to AuR Space Mining as a Robotics Student Engineer, development of software and controls in McMaster Engineering EcoCAR 3, and an internship at AMD focusing on software architecture. Ashlin holds an Engineer’s Degree in Mechatronics from McMaster University, a Master of Science in Neuropharmacology from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Science in Life Science from Queen's University.
