Christopher Ing is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at ProteinQure since October 2017, focusing on the development and application of novel workflows for protein therapeutic design. Previous experience includes roles as a Scientific Programmer at Synchrotron SOLEIL, where implementation of normal mode path integral molecular dynamics took place, and as a Google Summer of Code Developer at KDE, where a real-time smoothed particle hydrodynamics algorithm was developed. Christopher's early research contributions included work as a Biophysics Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Waterloo, a Computational Chemist at the University of Notre Dame, a Software Developer at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, and a Bioinformatics Researcher at University Health Network. Christopher holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto, a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor of Science in Computational Science and Physics from the University of Waterloo.
