Matt Clippinger

Matt Clippinger has extensive experience in strategic alliances and cloud strategy, with a focus on leveraging key cloud partners and vendors. Matt has served as Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Protera, where they accelerated clients' business transformation cloud journeys through strong vendor partnerships. Prior to that, they were a Partner Development Manager - Alliances at Protera, working on the Microsoft Partner Alliance and advocating for clients' business outcomes. Matt also worked as the Director of Cloud Strategy and Alliances at BEAR Cloud Technologies, driving the execution and operational oversite of the company's cloud strategy.

Before transitioning to the cloud industry, Matt held various positions at Sirius Computer Solutions, including Cloud Program Manager and SharePoint Solutions Architect, where they provided operational oversight, executed the Sirius Cloud Strategy for Microsoft Cloud, and delivered thought leadership in leveraging cloud-based technologies for improved business collaboration and efficiency. Matt also worked as a Sr SharePoint Developer at Sirius.

Earlier in their career, Matt worked as a Web Developer/Database Analyst at Symantec, where they implemented an integrated web portal for the Global Enterprise Monitoring Team and created databases for storing and correlating monitoring data and metrics. Matt also worked as a Computer Programmer/Web Developer at the University of Oregon and as an Accounting Assistant at Romania Enterprises.

Before their professional career, Matt owned and managed Campus Skate Co. Overall, Matt Clippinger brings a strong background in strategic alliances, cloud strategy, and leveraging cloud technologies for business transformation.

Matt Clippinger attended Lane Community College from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained an A.A.S. degree in Computer Programming and Computer Network Operations. In terms of additional certifications, they have received various qualifications from Microsoft, including the Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate certification in July 2020. Matt also holds certifications from Pragmatic Institute, such as PMC Level III, Focus, Foundations, and Price. In 2016, they became certified as an MCSA: Office 365 - Certified 2016 by Microsoft. Other certifications include MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional (2013), MCTS: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Configuration (2010), MCTS: SharePoint 2010, Configuration (2010), and ZCP: Sales (August 2020) from Zerto.
