David Dara

David Dara is a seasoned engineer and multimedia professional with extensive experience in both the electronics and video production industries. Currently serving as a Senior Test Equipment Engineer - Battery at Proterra Inc. since August 2022, David previously held roles including Electrical Engineer II at Dish Network, where David specialized in satellite receiver manufacturing and 5G cell tower assembly. David's educational background includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, complemented by a certification in Industrial Electronics and Automation. In addition to engineering, David has established a successful multimedia business, Dara Productions, producing over 100 theatrical movie DVDs and numerous other media projects, showcasing creativity and technical proficiency. David also has educational experience as a Department Head at Greenville Technical College and has taught various electronics-related courses, demonstrating a commitment to mentoring the next generation of engineers.
