Luke Whisler

Luke Whisler is a Project Engineer with extensive experience in engineering roles across multiple industries. Currently, at Navistar Inc since August 2024 and Proterra Inc since June 2022, Luke functions as a Sr. Project Engineer focusing on exterior and interior components of electric transit buses while also conducting Kaizen assembly studies to enhance manufacturing efficiency. Previously, Luke held various engineering positions at Navistar Inc from November 2016 to June 2022, including Sr. Product Development Engineer and Product Development Engineer, where responsibilities included exterior lighting design and quality project management. Earlier experience includes roles as a Fire Suppression Engineering Intern at UL and a project management intern at Valero Energy Corporation. Luke holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, completed in 2015, and graduated from Deerfield High School in 2011.
