Prathika Appaiah

Prathika Appaiah has a diverse work experience in the field of lighting technology. They started their career as a Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they focused on evaluating novel encapsulant materials for LEDs and studying their aging properties. They then joined Evolucia Inc. as an Illumination Engineer, where they provided technical support and training on LED technology while establishing benchmarks for system efficacy.

Following that, Prathika worked at Hubbell Lighting, initially as a Product & Lighting Engineer, evaluating optical and electrical performance of LED light fixtures. They were also responsible for troubleshooting issues with optical performance and design. Later, they took on the role of a Technology & Compliance Manager, managing compliance standards, photometry testing, and controls strategy for Hubbell Lighting's architectural products.
