Darren McDonald has a comprehensive work experience that spans several years. Starting in 2012, they worked as an Intern Adult, Child, and Family Therapist at Catholic Community Services Oregon - CCS, where they provided a range of services including assessment, treatment, and case management for children, adults, and their families. Darren also worked with juvenile foster youth through the Oregon Youth Authority and participated in wrap-around services.
In 2014, Darren served as a Counseling Intern at The Northwest Catholic Counseling Center. Then, in 2015, they joined ProtoCall Services, Inc., where they held various roles. Darren started as a Clinical Specialist, assessing, stabilizing, and referring consumers with mental health needs. Following that, they transitioned to an Onboarding Supervisor position, overseeing the onboarding process for new employees. Currently, they are the Clinical Manager at ProtoCall Services, Inc. Darren McDonald completed their Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling (Specialty in Family Systems) from Lewis & Clark College, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in Religion/Religious Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary, where they attended from 2002 to 2006.
