Rodney Grays has extensive work experience in the field of security and public safety. Rodney began their career as Lieutenant/Commander in the Prince George's County Police Department in 1984 and served until 2005. Following this, they joined Bowie State University as the Assistant Chief of Police/Deputy Director of Public Safety, where they worked from 2006 to 2016. From 2016 to 2020, Rodney Grays served as the Director of Public Safety at Mount St. Mary's University. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Security at Providence Hospital within the Providence Health System since 2020.
Rodney Grays holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management/Homeland Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
