Jamie Barber

Jamie Barber is an experienced communications professional with a career spanning over two decades in internal communications and strategic engagement. Currently serving as Communications Manager at SSE plc, Jamie previously held the position of Internal Communications Manager at first direct and Vanquis Banking Group, where responsibilities included designing strategic narratives and managing internal communication channels. Prior experience at Lloyds Banking Group involved senior roles in internal communications, including serving as an Internal Communications Business Partner for the Commercial Banking CEO office. Jamie's extensive background also includes roles in general insurance and debt recovery. Jamie holds a Higher National Diploma in Advertising and Graphic Design from Stockport College.
