Dr. Ruth Ogot

Dr. Ruth Ogot is a highly experienced Family Nurse Practitioner currently employed at Provider Healthcare since October 2021 and serving as Adjunct Faculty at California State University, Bakersfield since December 2020. Prior roles include practicing at Clinica Sierra Vista from April 2017 to September 2021, as well as positions at Gemcare and Bakersfield Heart Hospital. Dr. Ogot began a career in nursing as a Registered Nurse Midwife in Botswana, where responsibilities included mobile clinics and care for remote farming communities. Dr. Ogot holds a Doctor of Nursing degree, a Master’s of Science in Nursing, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science from Walden University and Chamberlain University, respectively, along with an Associate's degree in Nurse Midwifery from Shirati School Of Nursing and Midwifery.
