Kate Abernathy

Kate Abernathy, MS, RDN, LD, serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Nutrition Education at Providers Choice, Inc. since October 2015. Prior to this role, Kate worked as a Clinical Dietitian at Morrison Healthcare from 2008 to 2015 and at The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society from 2007 to 2008. Early in career, Kate volunteered for a full year with Amate House, focusing on simple living and social justice issues. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from Eastern Michigan University (2012-2015) and a Bachelor of Arts in Dietetics/Dietitian from the College of Saint Benedict (2002-2006).
