Jodi Murphy

SVP, People & Culture at ProviderTrust

Jodi Murphy is the current director of people operations at ProviderTrust. Jodi previously worked as the head field hockey coach at Liberty University from 2010 to 2016. In their six years at the helm, they guided the team to two NorPac Championships, two NCAA Tournament appearances, and three NorPac East Division regular-season crowns. The 2016 season saw Liberty Field Hockey join the BIG EAST Conference as an associate member. The Flames finished the inaugural season in the BIG EAST in second place and advanced to the BIG EAST Field Hockey Championship title game where they lost to No. 1 seed UConn, 3-2.

Under Murphy's coaching, the program maintained a 73-46 overall record and a 24-3 mark in conference play (19-1 in the NorPac Conference from 2012-14; 5-2 in the BIG EAST in 2016). Jodi coached two All-Americans in sisters Natalie Barr (third team, 2015) and Serena Barr (second team, 2016). Jodi also instructed 15 all-conference players, 14 all-region players and 11 all-tournament players. Murphy earned the NorPac Coach of the Year in 2012 and 2013, the VaSID All-State Coach of the Year in 2013 and 2014 and the NFHCA South Region Coach of the Year in 2014. During their six years of coaching, their teams defeated seven nationally ranked programs, while Liberty was ranked in the top 20 rankings for 12 weeks. The Flames' highest national ranking under Murphy was at No. 8.

Murphy first attended the University of Richmond, where they studied religion and English. Jodi then obtained their masters in human services with a concentration in executive leadership from Liberty University. Finally, they completed their education at Indiana University Bloomington.

Their manager is Andrew Luers, Partner & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Dale Clay - Chief Technology Officer, David Servodidio - VP, Marketing & Strategy, and Rachael Black - Executive Director, Client Strategy & Operations.
