Mariano Denegri is the current deputy manager of investments at Provincia Seguros. Mariano has 23 years and 10 months of experience in the company, starting as a junior analyst and working their way up to their current position. Mariano is responsible for developing and overseeing the investment strategy, leading a team of three analysts. Mariano is also a member of the internal Investment Committee and the Provincia Group.

Additionally, they are responsible for the Back Office and supervision of operations carried out by the treasury.
Some of their main accomplishments include streamlining administrative circuits and internal approvals that allowed for faster operation of the area in terms of execution and implementation of investment opportunities. Mariano also expanded the pool of counterparties, allowing access to new market segments and alternative placement of funds. Additionally, they were an advocate for the creation of an Internal Investment Committee, which increased the robustness and discipline of the asset selection process. Finally, they implemented a system for monitoring regulatory and internal limits, avoiding deviations that could lead to sanctions.

That´s why the CEFA Diploma designation is recognised by the Financial Conduct Authority FCA in UK, the Regulator of Financial Services in Malta and their counterparts in Greece, Portugal Brazil and Argentina.
The training includes both; relevant material to the investment profession (irrespective of where such professionals are located) and a significant coverage of regulatory and market structure material that is closely related to the European market place.
