Derek Lucas

Derek Lucas has over two decades of experience in technology and software development, currently serving as the Chief Cloud Technology & Infrastructure Services at the Provincial Health Services Authority since October 2012. Previously, Derek held roles including Director of Business Systems and Senior Manager within the same organization. Prior experience includes Software Development Manager at McKesson Medical Imaging Group, Software Product Development Manager at Nokia Products Canada, and Development Manager at Nokia. Earlier career positions include Team Lead at Motorola and Analyst at Raytheon Canada Limited. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow, completed between 1982 and 1985.
