Dirk Vanhelmont

Dirk Vanhelmont currently serves as a Senior Buyer in Public Procurement at imec since February 2024. With extensive experience, Dirk has been a Project Leader at Provincie Vlaams-Brabant since June 2009, overseeing the engineering, planning, and execution of various building and renovation projects. Additionally, Dirk held the position of Project Leader for sewerage at Fluvius from September to December 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at BestRay, focusing on high-tech X-ray sorting machines for the food industry, and as a Project Engineer at Camco Technologies, handling the installation and servicing of camera systems. Dirk holds a Master of Science in Electro-Mechanics from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven.
