Director Of Internal Operations, Compliance And Clinical Safety at Proximie

Marcus Stow, OBE, MStJ, RGN, has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Marcus currently holds the position of Director of Internal Operations at Proximie, a role they assumed in February 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Internal Operations - designate at the same company from May 2021 to February 2022.

In addition to their position at Proximie, Marcus is also a Medical Advisor at Pal, starting in June 2023. Marcus is a Humanitarian Clinical Advisor at DronePrep, where they joined in October 2022. Marcus holds the position of Non-Executive Director at The Royal College of Surgeons of England, starting in July 2022. Marcus is also a Humanitarian Advisor at the British Red Cross, where they began in March 2022.

Marcus has held several advisory and mentorship roles throughout their career. Marcus served as a Steering Group member at The iCrowd from February 2021. Marcus is also an Advisor at CardMedic since April 2021. Marcus participated in the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme as a Mentor, starting in February 2019.

Marcus'swork experience also includes their time in the Royal Air Force (RAF), where they served as a Nursing Officer from August 2002 to December 2022. Within the RAF, Marcus held various leadership positions, including Commanding Officer Tactical Medical Wing, Officer Commanding Role 1, AELO and HCG lead, and Deputy Officer Commanding Nursing.

Marcus Stow, OBE, MStJ, RGN earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in BSc Nursing Studies from King's College London from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include a Certificate of Professionalism in Innovation & Strategy for Business Leaders from the Institute of Innovation and Knowledge Exchange in February 2019, Aeromedical Evacuation certification from the Royal Air Force (RAF) in November 2013, Cert - Education and Mentorship in the Adult Sector from the UK Ministry of Defence in June 2007, and Registered Nurse status from The Nursing and Midwifery Council in July 1999.
