Jarren Williams

Jarren Williams has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jarren has worked as a Communications Specialist / Community Planner at PRR since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Baltimore City Public Schools from August 2019 to October 2021, where they held positions as a Community School Network Lead and a Project Specialist.

From October 2017 to August 2019, Jarren worked as a Transportation Planner at Sabra, Wang & Associates, Inc. Jarren served as a project consultant on numerous projects at DDOT. Jarren also worked as the Director of the Pay it Forward Program at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute from August 2018 to June 2019.

Jarren joined Sabra & Associates, Inc., a Mead & Hunt Company, in September 2017 as a Transportation Planning Data Analyst. Jarren had previously worked for three years on projects like the Maryland Purple Line and Baltimore Light Rail Line, where they worked with community groups and small businesses to address project impacts. Jarren also led data collection for the Baltimore City Variable Pricing Pilot Program and completed a signage inventory for the North Ave Rising streetscape project.

Prior to that, Jarren worked as a Businesses Sustainment/Workforce Development Analyst and Consultant at BTG and Business Transformation Group from September 2015 to September 2017.

In September 2015, Jarren also worked as a Consultant- Workforce Analyst at the Maryland Stadium Authority, where they created policy and procedure documents for the Work Based Leaning Program and served as the Lead Coordinator for the Baltimore City 21st Century School's Work Based Learning Program.

Jarren started their career at the Maryland Transit Administration, where they held roles as an Executive Assistant to the President from May 2014 to September 2015 and as a Coordinator for Community Workforce Programs from January 2013 to October 2014.

Lastly, they served as an Assistant Community Liaison/Environmental Lead at PRIME ENGINEERING/ from October 2014 to January 2015.

Jarren Williams attended Baltimore Polytechnic Institute from 2004 to 2008, where they studied Physical Sciences. Jarren then enrolled at Morgan State University and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2008 to 2014. In August 2014, they obtained a certification in Microsoft A+ Security from Microsoft.
