Gavin Larkins

Gavin Larkins has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Gavin is currently working as a Councillor at Gravesham Borough Council since May 2023. Prior to that, Gavin held multiple roles at PRS for Music, including Director of Commercial Development & Sales, Director of Strategic Partnerships, and Director of Business Development and Corporate Partnerships. In these positions, they were responsible for driving revenue growth, developing commercial joint ventures, and managing key partnerships. Gavin also served as the Head of Music Licensing, where they implemented licensing and sales strategies and achieved year-on-year revenue growth. Additionally, they worked as a Commercial Programme Manager, Commercial Finance Business Partner, Broadcast and Online Licensing Manager, Media Licensing Consultant, and Media Licensing Advisor at PRS for Music, where they contributed to various strategic projects and managed licensing agreements.

Gavin Larkins attended Gravesend Grammar School for Boys from 1992 to 1997. Gavin then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours degree in History and Politics at the University of East Anglia, graduating in 2000. Gavin later attended BPP University from 2008 to 2014, where they became CIMA Qualified in Management Accounting.
