Caleb Hess

Caleb Hess has a diverse work experience in various industries. Caleb started their career in 2014 as a PHP Programmer at Sage Age Strategies, a strategic marketing agency. Caleb then worked as a Programmer at Reddog Logistics, where they developed and maintained GPS tracking solutions. In 2015, they became a Software Engineer at NumbersUSA, a political activism organization focused on immigration reform.

In 2016, Caleb founded Byte Stack Systems, an IT service provider offering custom software solutions and hardware maintenance. Caleb grew the company from a single person to a team of 7 within three years. At the same time, they became the Owner of Gold Mountain Ice Cream & Deli, where they managed a team of 8 employees and took an active role in various tasks.

In 2020, Caleb joined Guthrie as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B), providing quality care to trauma and medical patients. Caleb continued this role at UPMC in 2021. Also, in 2021, they worked as a Data Analyst at Boral.

From 2021 to 2023, Caleb worked at Elmira College, initially as an Application Systems Programmer Analyst, then as Director of Enterprise Services, and finally as Deputy Chief Information Officer / Director of Enterprise Services.

Their most recent position, starting in May 2023, is at PRSM Healthcare, where they hold the role of Head of Information Technology.

Caleb Hess has a diverse education history. Caleb began their academic journey in 2001 at Cowanesque Valley High School, where they completed their secondary education. After high school, Caleb attended Mansfield University of Pennsylvania from 2007 to 2009 and pursued studies in Computer Science.

In 2012, Caleb transferred to Strayer University-Maryland, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Information Systems, graduating in 2014. Continuing their education at Strayer University, Caleb returned in 2021 and earned an Associate's degree in Information Technology from the institution.

Additionally, Caleb has pursued various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2020, they obtained an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Caleb's recent certifications include the TestOut PC Pro Certification and TestOut Security Pro Certification from the TestOut Corporation. In August 2021, they completed several data analytics-related certifications from Coursera, including "Analyze Data to Answer Questions," "Ask Questions to Make Data-Driven Decisions," "Data Analysis with R Programming," "Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere," "Google Data Analytics Specialization," "Prepare Data for Exploration," "Process Data from Dirty to Clean," and "Share Data Through the Art of Visualization."

Reflecting their ongoing commitment to education, Caleb is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Strayer University, beginning in 2021.
