Bijukumar S has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. BIJUKUMAR most recently worked as the Vice President - Sales Lead - Trade Credit Insurance at Prudent Insurance Brokers Pvt Ltd. beginning in August 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President at Origin Insurance Brokers India Pvt Ltd. from October 2018 onwards. BIJUKUMAR also served as the AVP / CORPORATE RELATION at the same company since February 2015.

Before joining Origin Insurance Brokers, Bijukumar S worked at MetLife as an AVP / AGENCY EXECUTIVE from June 2013 to January 2014. BIJUKUMAR was responsible for managing the overall agency distribution, recruitment, and strategies.

During their tenure at Reliance Life Insurance as the SR.TERRITORY MANAGER from January 2010 to January 2013, they successfully supervised a team and achieved sales targets through new business strategies and cost management.

Between April 2004 and December 2009, they worked at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd. as the SR.BRANCH MANAGER. In this role, they managed a team and implemented effective sales strategies to make the branch a profit center.

Earlier in their career, Bijukumar S served as a Team Leader at Standard Chartered Bank from May 2001 to March 2004 and as a Guest relation executive at Radhakrishna Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd. from June 2000 to April 2001.

Bijukumar S's education history begins in 1997 when they attended Calicut University, Thenhipalem, Malapuram to pursue a Bachelor's degree in History. This lasted until 2000. BIJUKUMAR then went on to attend Annamalai University from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing/Marketing Management, General. Following this, in 2010 to 2011, they enrolled at Annamalai University once again and completed a Post Graduation Diploma in Banking and Insurance.
