Karen Finney

Karen Finney is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the Director of Career Partner, Talent Management at Prudential Financial since January 2020. As a founding member of a team focused on transforming the organization into a skills-first culture, Karen emphasizes talent mobility and succession planning to enhance leadership development. Prior to Prudential, Karen held various roles at NBCUniversal Media, LLC from October 2003 to January 2020, including Vice President of Human Resources Business Partner. In these positions, Karen led talent management strategies and provided strategic HR partnership to senior leadership, enhancing organizational design and executing business goals. Karen holds a Master’s degree in Industrial & Labor Relations from Baruch College and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire.
