Susan Garrett

Susan Garrett is a highly experienced finance professional with a focus on alternative investments and private equity. As Managing Director at Prudential Financial since 2013, Susan manages a global private equity portfolio exceeding $10 billion and has successfully re-established the firm's private equity program. Prior experience includes serving as Managing Director at AIG Asset Management, where Susan managed a $5 billion private equity portfolio, and holding multiple senior roles at MetLife Investments from 1997 to 2010, including Global Head of the Mezzanine and Middle Market Finance Unit. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Virginia and an MBA in Finance, Strategic Management, and International Business from The Wharton School, in addition to earning the CFA Charter.
