Axel Perschmann

Axel Perschmann is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist and Lead Developer for AutoCrane at PSIORI since February 2019, Axel is focused on developing level 3 autonomy for Europe's largest timber loading crane using advanced technologies including cameras and laser scanners. Previous experience includes working as a Data Scientist at Prevedex Management Analytics DMCC, where Axel contributed to AI-driven trading strategies, and earlier roles at PSIORI and other companies, including internships and a Bachelor's thesis at Thales. Axel holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Freiburg and a Bachelor of Science in Media Informatics from Stuttgart Media University.
