Chris Dawson

Chris Dawson is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering and finance, currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager and Quantum Engineer at PsiQuantum since July 2017. Previously, Chris held positions as an Analyst at Element Capital Management and as a Quantitative Developer at Insight Investment. Chris began a career in algorithmic trading as an Analyst at Quantitative Brokers, following a tenure as a Global Macro Trader at CQS, where management of a diverse portfolio and the development of intricate financial software were key responsibilities. Earlier, Chris contributed to academic research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Imperial College London after earning a PhD in Physics from The University of Queensland, where a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Mathematics was also obtained.
